Tips... Tips... Tips...
LITTLE SECRETS, GOOD PASTRIES

I found those tips on the doors of a more than 30 years cupboard kitchen.
So fun to read those old newspaper articles.
Sorry, I won't be able to translate it all. :/

Picture 3 tips:
1#
1- if you want to boil potatoes for your salad, add half a lemon's juice in the water, potatoes will taste better!
2- To keep you saucisson (french dry sausage) fresh, put a slice of lemon at the edge of the cut and wrap it with foil.

2#
If you put too much salt in your soup, add half peeled potato and simmer for 20 more minutes. Potatoe will absorb the salt and then you can throw it away.

If your gratin is a bit burnt, take away the black parts and cover with a sauce that would be suitable with the gratin (bechamel, tomato sauce etc...).

3#
To deodorize your fridge, leave a saucer of milk, for 2 or 3 days, it will absorb odors.
