Kuchi - asian restaurant in Berlin

Good rice and tasty salmon, shrimp and surimi makis

Big deception: the Gyôza - they write gyosa on the menu.

I tried this restaurant in Mitte.

I say asian and not japanese because I asked for gyôza and I got fried ravioli (no idea which country's recipe it was). It's been 2 years since I'm in the quest of the best "real" japanese restaurant in Berlin.

This "real" adjective is sooooo important when you talk about cuisine right?

Here below, what gyôza looks like: a wheat doe stuffed with usually minced porc, cabbage, ginger and garlic. It's grilled on the bottom, and soft on the upper side. 

Otherwise, the makis were delicious really! And kind, fast waiters. 
Prices are ok: 8,50 euros for my lunch menu Maki Mix Special (18 pieces), comes with a miso soup. Gyôza, 6 pieces for 4,50 euros.

ミッテにあるこのレストランをためしてみた。
アジア料理だけど日本料理じゃないと私は言いたい。
だって餃子を注文して、来たのは揚げラビオリだったから。（どこの国の料理か私にはわからない）
ベルリンで ”本物” のおいしい日本料理のレストランを探し始めて、2年も経った。
この  ”本物” っていう言葉が、料理を語る上でものすごーーく大切でしょう？

さて、本物の餃子ってどんな物かというと：小麦粉の皮に、通常は豚ひき肉、キャベツ、ショウガ、ニンニクが包まれている。下がこんがり焼かれていて、上はやわらかい。

一方で、巻き寿司はとってもおいしかった!　
店員さんは親切で、手際が良かった。

お値段はお手頃。私の頼んだランチメニューは8.50ユーロの巻きミックススペシャル（18切れ）、おみそ汁付き。餃子は6個で4.50ユーロ。
