Chouquette


最近、私がキッチンで忙しくしているのは、シューケットを作るため!
シューケット、小さなシュー。
先週パリで生まれて初めて食べて、恋に落ちた。

シュー生地に大きめの粒のお砂糖をたっぷり振りかけただけのシンプルなお菓子。
卵とバターとお砂糖の味だけの、本当に素朴なお味です。

作るのは簡単なはずだけれど、やっぱりパリの味はだせないんだな。
私の舌がパリの味を忘れないうちに、今日もまた挑戦!


Those days, I was busy in my kitchen backing chouquettes!
Chouquettes are small choux pastries.
Last week, I ate those for the first time of my life and I fell in love with it.

The choux are covered with "pearl" sugar.
It simply taste like eggs, butter and sugar at their best.

It's easy to bake but actually, it's difficult to make it taste like the parisian ones.
While I still have the taste of the Paris's one, today, I'll challenge again the recipe!
