The Eye is a Lonely Hunter - Images of Humankind at Grimmuseum

CHINAFRICA by PAOLO WOODS
THE TALL TALE OF FREE WILL, 1978-2011 by BARBARA METSELAAR BERTHOLD
WAY TO ROME by SAID ATABEKOV
ALONE TOGETHER by SOFIA BURCHARDI & PLAMEN BONTCHEV
DIARAMA by JACOB HOLDT

My mystake: this exhibition in Berlin, Kreuzberg, at Grimmuseum ended today and it was awesome.
Still, I want to talk about it.
This museum is free, it's my first time there and this exhibition was really high quality works.
It was a selection of 13 talented photographers working on social, politic matters.

A friend recommanded me Jacob Holdt (Danish) few months ago and luckily, his works got featured in Berlin. That's why I ended up there. I was very very moved by his diaporama showing pictures taken in USA between 1970 and 75 and his comments about it. He talks about his experience as a traveller there, and racism in the country.
Please be curious and watch his slideshow for free on his website.

Beside, I discovered and liked (never too late) Paolo Woods (Canadian) who documented the unexpected invasion of chinese companies in Africa, Barbara Metselaar Berthold (German) and her 5 portraits of berliners in 1978 and then 2011 depicting in a way, Berlin's history too.

Voilà pourquoi je me suis retrouvée là.
